  • BFGI Student bagged Mr personality title at Mr & Miss India Globe 2018

    Navkiran Singh from BCA 2nd Year on winning the title of “Mr. Personality” at MR and MISS INDIA GLOBE 2018 held at Jaipur. Navkiran Singh completed with 35 contestants from around the country in the finals and was given the title of Mr. Personality.

  • BFCET becomes Overall Champion at Youth Fest of M.R.S.PTU

    Two day Youth Festival ‘Mehak Mitti Di’ was organized at MIMIT Malout by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda. Students of Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology participated in various events of this Youth Festival with full zeal and enthusiasm. In these competitions, the students of Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology won 11 Gold Medals and 6 Silver Medals by showing their talents. Due to these achievements, Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology has won the overall champion trophy by enhancing the prestige of the institution. Everyone appreciated the talent of these students.
    Students of BFCET bagged first position in the Punjabi folk dance (Bhangra), Punjabi folk dance (Giddha), Group Shabad, Indian group song, Western group song, Vaar Gayan, Essay writing, Elocution, Poetry writing, Poetry Recitation and Mehandi competitions and got Gold Medal in these competition with excellent performance. Apart from this, Students of this college also won silver medals by getting second position in Classical dance, One act play, On the spot photography, Clay modeling, Classical vocal solo and folk song etc. At the same time, Navish Sharma, a student of BFCET was awarded as Best Folk Dancer in BHANGRA. Apart from this, Cultural Co-ordinator of BFCET was also awarded for this victory by MRSPTU, Bathinda.

  • BFC bagged overall 3rd Position in Zonal Youth Festival 2017

    Students of Baba Farid Group of Institution is making the institution shine like a diamond by bagging too positions in academics, sports and cultural activities. Recently, Students of Baba Farid College made the institution proud by winning numerous positions in the Zonal Youth Festival of Punjabi University, Patiala held at Gurukul College for Women, Kotkapura and bagged overall 3rd position in the fest. It is pertinent to mention that BFC won overall trophy in Dance also.

  • Students of Baba Farid College bagged 1st position in Bhangra, Group Shabad, Western Solo, Geet /Gazal, Indian Group Song and Western Group Song. Apart from these, team of Baba Farid College has increased the honor of the College by getting 2nd position in Gidha, On Spot Painting & Installation competitions. In the same way, students of BFC bagged 3rd position in Play, Poster Making and Elocution. Baba Farid College has 4th position in Classical Vocal also. Veerpal Kaur of BFC was honored with the title of ‘Best Dancer in Giddha’. Due to these fantastic achievements Baba Farid College won overall trophy in Dance and bagged overall 3rd position at the fest.

  • Similarly, team of Baba Farid College of Management and Technology bagged 2nd position in MIME. Payal Mehta (MBA-1st Year) secured 2nd position in the Mimicry competition also. Deepinder Singh (MBA-1st Year) got 3rd position in Clay Modeling and Manpreet Kaur (MBA-2nd Year) got 4th position in the Poetry Recitation and Elocution respectively. Moreover, students of Baba Farid College of Education has secured 3rd place in the MIME and Skit competitions respectively while 4th position in Poster making and Geet /Gazal contest also.

  • Baba Farid College bagged 2nd position in Interzonal Youth Fest

    Congratulations! to the MIME Team of Baba Farid College, Bathinda on bagging 2nd Position in Interzonal Youth Fest held at Punjabi University, Patiala. A total of 12 Teams from 6 Zones of Colleges affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala were participating in this Youth Fest and BFC has consecutively bagged 2nd Position in MIME.
