It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI), an institution that has grown with a strong commitment to quality education, innovation and societal development. From our humble beginnings with the establishment of Baba Farid Public School in 1994 to the emergence of BFGI as a multidisciplinary academic ecosystem, our journey has been guided by the vision of empowering young minds through knowledge and skills..

Today, BFGI stands as one of the leading centres of higher education in the region, offering diverse academic programmes supported by modern infrastructure, experienced faculty and strong industry linkages. Our institutions are committed to nurturing not only academic excellence but also creativity, critical thinking and professional competence among students.

In response to the rapidly evolving global landscape, BFGI has embraced the philosophy of Education 4.0, where learning moves beyond traditional classrooms towards a more student-centric and experiential model. Through innovative teaching practices such as flipped classrooms, project-based learning and industry-driven training, we are preparing students to become problem solvers, innovators and responsible global citizens.

One of our key strengths lies in our emphasis on skill development, research and entrepreneurship. Through the Baba Farid School of Skill Development, Centres of Excellence established with leading industry partners and cutting-edge laboratories, we ensure that students gain practical exposure aligned with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Industrial Automation and Extended Reality. Alongside this, our School of Entrepreneurship nurtures innovation by supporting startups, incubation programmes and accelerator initiatives that connect young entrepreneurs with mentors and investors.

Research and innovation form another important pillar of our institutional growth. Our faculty and students are actively engaged in funded research projects, patent development and interdisciplinary collaborations with premier institutions such as IITs, NITs, AIIMS and leading industry partners. These initiatives strengthen our mission of creating knowledge that contributes meaningfully to society. As we move forward, BFGI is entering a transformative phase with the vision of establishing a multidisciplinary Baba Farid University, which will further expand opportunities for research, global collaboration and innovation-driven education.
